Feb. 1st our first daffodils started blooming so I took their pictures. Today there are six but the rain is sort of ruining them.

Yesterday we bought some pansies and sweet allysum that I am going to plant among the daffodils and maybe a few along the front porch/deck. Maybe I'll put some in a pot and put them on the back deck. I wanted to buy some red geraniums but our budget is tight and it's too early for them anyway.

Spring has officially been declared in Texas. Now you are in charge of sending it northward after you are finished with it. :)

That's such a pretty bright yellow. The only Daffs blooming here are the wild white ones. I'm not complaining... just jealous of yours!
Hope all the rain up there today didn't drown them.

Ohohoh, what a sight for sore eyes! :stew2: Congrats on your daff. I hope you'll be as cheered by mine when the time comes for them to bloom as I was cheered by yours. :D

Oh dooley! How lovely! I would normally have such a hankering for daffodils by February, but this winter in the Northeast, we really haven't had winter yet, so my gardener's clock is screwy. I am still waiting for winter, odd as that sounds.
