I had to take the camera around to the end of the house because I noticed the daffodils are done blooming. They need to be deadheaded now. But the freesia are starting to bloom now. #5 ( photo / image / picture from dooley's Garden ) freesia # 1 ( photo / image / picture from dooley's Garden ) #2 freesia ( photo / image / picture from dooley's Garden ) #3 ( photo / image / picture from dooley's Garden ) #4 ( photo / image / picture from dooley's Garden ) I thought the red ones were pretty but that odd white one is pretty good, too. I think there will be a yellow one. I will watch for it. dooley
Gosh Dooley my daffodils haven't even flowered yet let alone died back!! I love freesias and wish I could grow them here. I doubt if they would survive out climate though so I'm content to share yours. The red ones are a lovely striking shade and white one is a real beauty.
My Daffs are finished blooming but the leaves are still bright green so no cutting them back yet. I tried for two springs to grow Freesias, sorta bloomed the first year, the second year nothing but a little green popped up. Those red ones a stunning!!!
