Daffodils or Spring Smiles

    Most of these are from my 2011 garden. This year was warm in the beginning of March and then the frosts came. Most of my flowers were "nipped" my frosts this year.

    I love them all :-D My grandma had oodles of them in her yard, every type you could imagine. For some reason I don't have much luck growing them :-?

    Daffodils are a good representation that spring is off and running. Is it my imagination of do daffodils mostly face in the same direction? Mine always face West.

    correct color?

    That first picture. Does it represent what the color actually is? What is the name of it? Might try it, although dafs don't really thrive here, but it would be at least one season of their blissful photons.

    Most of those daffodils came from Breck's many years ago. The last photo is a daffodil named "twins". It has two or three flowers on each stem. I am a twin so it is special to me.

    Jerry my daffs face west too - I wonder why that is?
