At last, I have had the time to resize the pictures Mark took at the show on Saturday. The exhibits have been 'tampered with' by the judges so they aren't all neat as we left them for judging. Hopefully you can see the awards I received for each item.

    Well chuffed?
You should be. Cor, those presentations were very nice.
What type of peas are those that won first prize?
The spuds made me grin from ear to ear... well done.
The sweetpeas and Top Vase awards were also pretty great.
Where are you going to put all those awards? :D

Anyway...so not come the kid's prizes. I'll bet they were good too, right?

p.s. I couldn't make-out what the prize was for the strawberry tart. What does it say?

I am having trouble with my connection so can't get the darn photos to continue downloading...they will follow soon, promise. The strawberry roulade one a first prize, plus an award for the best exhibit in the 'homewares' section. This is normally only won by the ladies of the Womens Institute, but I outdid them! I was cornered several times asking me why my roulade didn't crack and that I had better keep the plate well polished.

The children made a beach in a seed tray, a summer party invitation, brandy snaps and butterfly cakes. Jessica also tried her hand at a petite flower arrangement with flowers from the garden. The small arrangement in a shell was my attempt at a summer miniature. It was teeny and got second place!!

Jessica should be very proud of her work, I love the little flower arrangement.

Stunning, beautiful - no wonder you took all those prizes.
Am I being silly or do those trays ( the beach and the the seed tray) look almost edible.
That Strawberry roulade looks lovely. Congratulations yet again. :stew1:
