We have gone from Reflections to Dashing through the snow. This is what we woke up to this morning. Any grip I may have felt that I still had on summer is surly gone with the wind, and there was plenty of that last night. It is 25° (-3.9°) this morning and I do believe that winter has arrived. Tom
My goodness, you sure did get alot of snow! We had nothing but water when I awoke this morning, but it was beginning to snow. On my morning commute, however, the sight quickly began to look like that in your photos. Makes for a messy ride, that's for sure. But also very pretty! I love the sight of snow-covered trees. Great pics!
Oh, My Gosh what an absolutely beautiful sight. I can't decide which are the most beautiful tho, the reflection pictures of Autumn or the view of the same spots in the snow. And the view you have out the window while on the computer.
Really lovely photographs Tom but I hope we don't get any of the white stuff for a while yet!! BTW I've removed the duplicate piccie for you.
Winter alright. It is totally amazing. Thank you Calomaar for sharing those wonderful pictures. It makes me feel part of your world. Around here we experience snow only high up on the mountains and then it is always so short lived. The snow that is. By the time we get to the snow it is usually very dirty and so many people around one would swear it is the Mardi Grass.
Yep, you got the same stuff we did last night. Snow. By afternoon it was a sheet of ice here on top of the snow, an by 3:00 just as it was getting dark it started to snow again an hasn't really stopped yet,, but its not accumulating much. The pics are very beautiful, an thank you for sharing your snow,,,lol.
Wow Calomaar! Beautiful view! Is this a typical Nov 6th for you up there ? All we hear about is global warming.
Is that the same location as yesterday First snow pics of the year, congrats Tom. I also notice the water is not as still now
Yep Tom I think winter has arrived.BIG TIME.Can you please keep it up there as this old body couldn't stand it here have to admit its a beautiful site to see. Thanks for freezing me to death Tom.
God, I feel cold just looking at those pics *lol* I want the snow to stay away for as long as possible I hate cold.....
snow It is indeed beautiful to look at, but I must admit, I dislike being in snow a great deal. I've developed a mild tolerance for it, since my daughter likes it so much and she has fun in it. I hate being cold & wet and that stuff is a double-whammy. Thankfully, we only get light snow in Winter, but every once in a while, we'll get a whopping 6 inches!!
