Datura Trumpet

    what is a good fertilizer for making a Datura trumpet
    flower.

    I just use regular old Miracle Gro or a 13-13-13 or 10-10-10 general fertilizer. Mine have been full of blooms this year.

    I see you are also in Ontario ... I do hope you have dug out and brought yours inside for the winter by now? I overwinter mine each year and they don't really do too much during their time indoors. I try to keep them in a state of semi-dormancy during the winter months as there isn't really enough daylight to keep them blooming. Once spring comes and the days get longer again, I give them compost and fertilize. Once it is warm enough they are moved outside and fertilized with 20-20-20 :)

    Hi Netty, thanks for your reply, yes i have remove my datura from the ground.I placed in the best sunny location in my house. There are a few flower buds hoping it will open so i can enjoy the fragrance.
