We had light today!!! okay not bright blinding light but hey i could see clear out there. Okay it wasn't exactly sunlight either, it was sun an moon light together that never goes completely over the horizen yet, but now the moon is all the way up.

    Daylight! (kind of)

ohhh you don't know how happy i was to see light even if it wasn't real sun light,,,lol.

Thank you all for enjoying my sunrise daylight with me.

Toni we still have about a month to go as far as real Sun in the sky light, until then the sun will come just to below the horizon but not actually rise til about mid Feb. Now will start what is called the blue time, where everything looks blue in every shade you can think of. But we had light for about an hour. slowly going down then the moon comes up for the rest of the time.

Eileen you never have to ask, just take what you like. I have enough sky for everyone,,,lol. But please help yourself anytime you see something you want.

Frank before i know it, it will be sun 24 hours aday. just 5 more months until that happens.

Glad you all like them, an tonight when i went out with the dog to get the sauna ready for later, the Northern Lights were just dancing an dancing. I tried to take a pic, but my camera just isn't strong enough. :(

Droopy, i don't know why but this winter so far has been a tough one on me, i breezed thru the other winters, an when i was a kid it never bothered me,, but dang this year has been tough. lol. and we haven't even gotten to the snow part where you can't go anywhere because its over the head, only on the plowed areas.

So yeah i seen that light an i spent the whole hour out there, freezing but i didn't care...lol. Balder didn't want to go in either, he just sniffed an walked all over the place.

It might be hard on you because of the lack of snow. Even though it's hard work to get rid of it, at least it brightens everything. The mild wetness sucks all light away, and it's no fun being outside at all. I know how I feel after a period of rain, even though we've got light all winter. Break out the daylight lamp!

yeah i hear that droopy, at least with the snow an even just the moon light it looks like dusk all the time,(the blue time) an with all this rain,, geeeeez its just pitch black out there. even in the middle of the night with snow its kind of bright. but not now, its like all the light is just sucked out the windows an honestly if you go out, out of the range of the porch light, its total darkness, you can't even see the barn, blacksmith shop, cabins, nothing.

plowing snow is no problem we have a huge tractor that blows the snow up an out off to the side. but we only do that at the top up here, not down to the sauna or the near the sea. but we still have shovel out the walk ways to get from our house to uncles house.
