Beautiful, greenery and fruit I love those as holiday decorations.
    How old is the homestead?

Wow over a hundred years older than the whole country. Beautiful house. How much of the furnishings are original to the home? I find it fun to let my mind wander trying to imagine what life was like in places like that.

The Barrett and Byam families lived here for over 100 years. Originally a salt box construction the house has had many additions and changes reflecting the needs of its various occupants. The homestead became the home of the Chelmsford Historical Society in 1968. It has been furnished with furniture of the period and houses historical artifacts and archives relevant to the history of Chelmsford and its residents.

Lovely decorations. I bet they are super special to see in person in such a historic old house.

It is nice to walk from room to room looking at the decorations realizing that almost 350 years ago people were doing something similar right where you are standing.

Those decorations are lovely! Your club does a very good job at decorating the old house. I can't pick a favourite so I'm glad I'm not trying to decide which one to buy and bring home. :D
