Decorator crab

    Here are two decorator crabs, one just starting by the look of it, the other is the ultimate in decor.

    Just took those pics today on another tidal walk. Found a sea star that I didn't have photos of, saw 6 altogether. Will have a few things to add to the marine pages on the web site.

    I love Decorator Crabs. I always liked seeing the different things that they attached to their backs for camouflage especially when they attach things like Anemones.

    Thank you all for showing a little interest in our marine life. Many people do not have the chance to see very much of it.

    Hi bsewnsew. I'm just putting the names to the pictures from yesterdays trip and then I will post a selection in a web page. Till then you can always look at the images I already have in my web site just click Marine Life and have a browse.
