Here are two decorator crabs, one just starting by the look of it, the other is the ultimate in decor.

Just took those pics today on another tidal walk. Found a sea star that I didn't have photos of, saw 6 altogether. Will have a few things to add to the marine pages on the web site.

 

Kildale are those things stuck on the crab? How do they do that? Thank you for showing me something I've never seen before!

I love Decorator Crabs. I always liked seeing the different things that they attached to their backs for camouflage especially when they attach things like Anemones.

 

Thank you all for showing a little interest in our marine life. Many people do not have the chance to see very much of it.

 

Why not show more of it .

We love to see the unknown.
