Molly was watching out the window and started barking like crazy...I thought it was her wild turkey bark.

When I went to the window, I was excited to see the deer. They don't come through here too often.

We have a little cabin on a private lake south of the city> it is 75 acres of water and woods. We love to see deer passing through. They are truly gentle creatures! I know a lot of people loath them because they can be destructive and will devour many plants, but they must like us because we have never had much trouble. Could it be the dog? :) I am always glad when hunting season is over, so I don't have to think about them being killed. I know the populations must be controlled, but I could NEVER kill one!

Nice shots! We have tons of deer wander thru the fields here. They seem to have set trails were they always cross and walk and luckily it isn't near my gardens. >>knocking on wood<< The people just 2 doors down are on one of these crossings and the deer are constantly eating their plants. I am also surrounded by clover and alfalfa fields and I guess that keeps them fed and happy :)

Lovely deer. :D I prefer deer way into the forest, but I do like to see them occasionally.

Great photographs. Sadly we no longer see deer here as all the fields around us are being built on. It's so good to see yours and to know that Molly alerts you so that you can take piccies for us. :-D
