Desirable amounts of nitrate and phosphorus in soil?

    sorry if this is not the place for the question but im new and didnt know what forum it would fit in but i need a little bit of help

    can anyone tell me the desirable levels of nitrate and phosphorus in soil?

    any help greatly appreciated thanks :)

    The desirable levels will depend largely on what you want to plant as each plant will have its own requirements. If you could tell us what you want to plant then we can help you with a more specific answer ;)

    In general the three major nutrients peform the following functions:
    Nitrogen - Leaf production
    Phosphorous - Root and flower production
    Potassium - Flower production
