Our sunday papers carry Walter Drake folders catalog to order small items. Back in October I ordered printed christmas cards an sent a check to pay for it .. Allow 6 weeks to fill the order it said. Well this week I got on the web an asked where the order was. They replied we have no findings of an order from you . I gave the information an check number .. Still they said they cant find that order. So I got our slips from the bank and the check was already received there, and they were paid. I put that part on the scanner an mailed it to them and it had all the info they needed...Even the number of the order..... This time they wrote back the order was canceled in November???????////No reason why , but they said they will refund the money in 2 weeks......Will see. Just be careful if you deal there. Lucky my bank had the information I needed. b
I have ordered from them in the past and had no problems. Did you give them your email address so in case they had any questions or problems with your order they could contact you? You might check your spam folder to see if they did and it was sorted into that folder instead of your inbox. The order might have been cancelled if they didn't hear back from you.
Yes I did give the email an phone number and addy. I will go check spam......But they made no effort to send the money back> b See if they do this time.
I have ordered address labels (several times over the years) from them and never had problems. Hope you get your refund soon. I have never understood why it takes companies so long to issue a refund! :-?
One reason it takes so long, they wont get intrest on it ......Say like 30 days. Another trick we use , say the bill is due 15, and you write out a check on 9th, dont use the 9th, use 15 so they cant cash it an collect. Now walter ole boy, first said they had no Such order there>. I said let me refresh your memory. My bank had it all down where 2 weeks after it was sent they got the money..... They were not going to send it back.. Trying to spam me.....Had my addy my phone an my email.. I had to contact them.. So hows the family? b
