Did you ever see something laying where it shouldn't be so you pick it up and put it somewhere safe where you can find it again? I have spent two hours looking for a teddy bear pattern. I know where it was and I remember picking it up and putting it away. But, I can't remember where I put it. I have looked in all the places it would likely be and now, I've started looking everywhere. Where would I have put it? I have a file for bear patterns, but it isn't there. I have sewing cabinets and boxes and it isn't there. I have resorted to going through stacks of bear magazines, thinking maybe I put it in one of those. How can I use the material I bought last night if I can't find the pattern? The material is especially for that bear, I can't use it for something else. DR says I can make a new one, but if I do, it won't be the same. Drat!! Dooley

Never mind! Posting on here must have helped. I went back to looking. I went through the magazines and then went back to the pattern boxes. I took each one out and looked. It was there. I just didn't label the file folder and it was stuck between two rather overloaded ones. Dooley

DR calls it Senior Moments, but a lady at the store called it Sometimes Moments as in Sometimes I can and Sometimes I can't. Dooley

Instead of finding mine in a folder I find it in a stack on the computer table. If they can't find where it goes that is where they put it.

I must have picked it up and put it away. No one else goes in my sewing corner. I should have labeled it I guess. I might have found it the first time I looked if it hadn't gone between the two overfull folders. The overfull folders have patterns for huge bears. I've made one or two of those. Dooley

I guess I've quit sewing. I have squares and material for baby quilts and one child will be three and the other two. I haven't even joined one square.

I'm just happy you found it. My husband "misplaced" my outdoor watering wand two months ago. We bought a new one the next day and Still haven't come across the old one. I hope you post a pic of Mr. Bear when you are done.

It's going to be a surprise for someone, but I think I can post it without ruining it. Dooley

Glad you found your bear pattern Dooley. I would love to see it after it's done.

I bought a brand new pair of good bypass pruners, never used them. Had them on the computer desk, that way I would know where they were. I saw them the day before I needed to use them. Guess what, when I went to get them they were gone, still haven't showed up. Of course, nobody touched them. This is one I couldn't even blame on the puppy from hell.

    8) glad you found it. As a young child my Grandma would have me sit down and go step by step and wala it was there. I found my sneakers in the refrigerator. :D I call that child in hurry for school.

Oh Dooley!! I could not count the times I have found myself running around like a chicken with it's head cut off looking for something I have misplaced!!lol! I usually run around looking for my purse when we are trying to head out the door and one of the kids or John will say "Hey silly it's hanging on your shoulder!!" lol!
I'm really glad you found your pattern!!
