Did you really think you wouldn't be missed?!! Of course you were and I, for one, am so glad you're here with us again. :-D The Devil's Punch Bowl is intriguing as it appears to have walls of sand. I would have thought that, over time, the sides would erode and collapse. Is it much larger than it looks in your photograph or is it just a small pool?
It is a massive bowl shaped crater with a large hole in the side where the waves lash through. It is part of the coastline and at some point the waves will break through the rest of the frontage. May be a lot of years yet though as it is massive. ( photo / image / picture from Kildale's Garden )
