Tomorrow is our grandson's birthday. He'll be 13 on the 13th. We went to the Farmer's Market this morning and there is a stand that sells didgereedoo's. whozat has bought a couple from them so we bought one for our grandson. They are an instrument that originated in Australia. It's a long tube that you blow through. I copied some information and instructions off of the internet that we will include with it. I hope he likes it. We, also, bought him a fancy chess set and an instruction book. The party is tomorrow afternoon. dooley
Great, inventive gifts for your grandson! Please wish him happy birthday from all your friends here on the Stew!
I love the gifts you've bought for your grandson Dooley. I used to buy various musical instruments for my youngest lad and we also gave him a chess set many years ago which he still has. Do wish your grandson a very Happy Birthday from us all here.
Hope your grandson has a very happy Birthday. His parents might not be so enthused about the Didgeridoo once they hear him learning to play it. It has a nice sound when done right so hopefully he picks up on it quickly
Toni, he is very musical. He sings in choir and quartets. I'm sure he will learn this in no time. We did get him directions and information on how to with it.
Everyone loved the didgereedoo. Jacob tried it out and he could make it work. After he has a chance to study the directions I'm sure he will do fine. His older brother liked it too and wants one for himself. His birthday is in August so soon the family will have two didgereedoo's to entertain their friends. It was a great party and we ended it with scrabble and chess. dooley
