Does anyone know the different types of Gardenia. My FIL use to say there was one that only bloomed once a season, and another that bloomed multiple times. What are the names of them? Somewhere in my mind, I am thinking one is 'Fortunae' and the other is 'Mystery'. Do those names sound familiar to anyone? ;)

Thanks for the info Toni and Eileen. It would be nice to have one bloom from spring until (Texas) winter. I need to make some calls. There are several nurseries around here that might have them or could order them. Of course Lowe's or Home Depot also might have them. ;)

    Hi Kuntrygal
There are also Gardenia cornuta which grows into a lovely tree of about 4 meters and flowers in spring.
ANd the Gardenia thunbergia wich grows to only about 2 meters in height whenplanted in a garden. - this one flowers in summer.
