I have an even older on Frank. I always liked this one because when I was in high school, I worked with the sister of one of these guys. The Del-Vikings Whispering Bells DR
They didn't have that exact one DR but here is another one by the Del Vikngs - Jitterbug Mary
Oh, thanks Frank. That movie same name as the song, came out in 1960 when I was a Sophomore in high school. We were all swooning over what that song was saying to us :-D
This may be the only song ever conceived of at a traffic light. Bob Gaudio of the Four Seasons was stopped at a light in New Yorks Hells Kitchen neighborhood when a little girl came up to his car and wiped the windshield hoping for pocket change. He had only a five dollar bill which hefinally gave her. The image of the look on her face as he pulled away stayed with him and bcame a song. It wa the last # 1 hit for the group. The Four Seasons Rag Doll
Oh yes, I remember those well. Love Where the Boys are Toni. How 'bout Smoke Gets In Your Eyes - The Platters or Bobby Darin - Mack the Knife all well before your time Frank
