Every fall south side. Many of them. But my customer house. Looked out window.Couldn't see the door to entry way. I just killed one running across desk
Went and planted some tulips. 1 hour later side of house covered.Glad I had house hooked .And will have them in church :'(
We get them every year, but it seems to be less this year. Not sure if the early freeze got them or if there was some other reason.
We are inundated this year with them. I escorted 4 out of my office today alone. One was walking down the wall behind where my 88 year old patient was sitting today. It was very distracting. As it got closer to her, I was afraid it would fly & land on her, and give her the fright of her life. (They do fly you know). I finally couldn't resist. I jumped up, scooped it up with a tissue and escorted it outdoors. By the end of the day, I had a little pile of tissues outside my door.
CORRECTION: I just googled box elder bug, and that is not what we have. We have a relative of the stink bug. Woe be to you if you squoosh them!
Dh helps me clean couple of my customers. One had him spray for them. Was going to have birthday party. And was going to eat on deck.He power washed deck afterwards about inch thick.
