Cleaning another one outside.. I empty about every day. But gets small black bugs. Hate seeing people's feeders pitch black.

No problems here. The feeders get changed every 2 to 3 days depending on the temperature. No bugs. The food is made up and stored in the refrigerator.

Mine are cleaned and refilled twice a week. I don't get bugs, but sometimes the wasps or ants find them.

I to do not have to many bugs in Hummer feeder. Like Netty we get ants and wasps. For the ants I have a cup you fill with water and hang the hummer feeder below it. Takes care of the ants as they do not like to try and swim over the water.
I am also having a ball feeding the young Orioles that keep coming for their sugar fix. No wonder they are so hyper. Sometimes they are lined up to get a drink. I will have to see if I can get a pic of them.

A mote like this is very effective for ants and crawling bugs.

I have no bugs.. I only put an inch of sugar water in then. I also have 6 out all over the place. I let one run out for one day and continuously will one everyday. I never have bees or ants or bugs like I used to have....
