Does anyone know about the Dyckia plant?

    Wow. A cool plant. Wish I had one so I could share my experience with you.
    And poor pup... all choked up by mom :)

    Well, Mom will be getting a little wider pot today. An examination will take place to see how mature the pup is. There may have a little surgery preformed at the "Barb in Pa." house today.

    I usually sell all offspring from these plants but I think I will be keeping them to keep outside in the summer. I want to make a mound of these cuties. I will plant them right in the ground for the Summer. They, of course, will have to be potted and moved into the greenhouse for each Winter. I do that or just bury the pot of many tropical plants that I keep in the greenhouse.
