    Hi,

Would anyone happen to know the name of the flowers below? I picked up a few very small flowers last spring. They grew and grew! The plants bloomed all spring, summer, and into the fall. They were the last plant to bloom in the fall.
I'm sure they are a common annual, but I can not think of the name or locate them online.

    Thanks!
    Daphne

It looks like a pink Zinnia to me, but I'm not positive.

I would go with Droopy on that, as I am aware that there are shorter types of zinnia.

Yup, Zinnia. I'm a huge fan of Zinnia's as they are drought tolerant and bloom all season. They make great cut flowers too :)

Thanks so much everyone. For the life of me I could not remember the name of the flowers. Strange thing is my sister gave me some garden stuff and a pink zinnia this evening. How bizarre is that?
Toni...thanks for the butterfly id. We had several kinds last year but I'm horrible at identifing them.
Biita, you will love them...Netty is right. They are tough flowers and they bloomed over and over.
