OMG! Are these the same guys that you posted back in the depths of winter in their little tents on the ice?? Crrrrazy men. I bet that ice is getting thin. Bbbrr.
You wouldn't catch me out there that's for sure. They're obviously dedicated fishermen or just plain mad!!
Are these the ones who fall through the ice every spring? I've seen where cars and snowmobiles fall through the ice. Some people just don't know when to quit? dooley
They really are keen. I wouldn't want to sit about on the ice for hours, but it looks nice to go for a spot of fishing.
There are some out there that have type "A' personality, and simply must be on the go, working all the time. Similarly, there are some with real passion for a particular endeavor. Fishing, and in particular Ice fishing has to fall into that realm. The men in these pictures were out there when I got up that morning, and finally left while we were eating dinner, at about dusk. There is something involved that is more than patience, or camaraderie, or need to be out of the house, or need for food. It has to be a real passion for the endeavor. I wonder if some of you here at this forum don't have some of that same passion for gardening. It sounds like it. I don't mind taking my 2 grand sons out in the boat for a few hours of fishing, but I'm ready to come back in after a 2 or 3 hours, as are they. Now my son in law, that's a different story. Tom
