A Heartbreaking reminder of the tragedy for everyone involved. Japan needs the compassion & support of the world community.
The video clip is well named 'Ultimate loyalty.' I hope both dogs are now being well cared for as they certainly deserve to be. I know that all the humans that are still fit and healthy show the same compassion for others but this story really touches the heart doesn't it?
This was hard to watch, as is all the footage. There are heroes of all kinds in Japan today. I can't stop thinking of them all.
For a place that has been so decimated, even the rescue of pets can be heartwarming. The caption below said they received vet care. Jerry
Sometimes when a story is so big and heart-rendering it's the little stories that help show what that part of the world is going through.
I just feel so bad for what has happened in Japan....the number of people dead is so terrible and my heart goes out to them and all the animals...it is great to know that they would take time to help the dogs when so much is going on.
