My wife and I went out to shovel off the front deck. There was a 2 ft. drift on it where it blew off the roof. When the snow was coming down, it was heavy and wet. Then it froze last night. We had to cut the snow into blocks with the snow shovels then push them off the deck. It was like shoveling heavy styrofoam blocks! It too the 2 of us an hour to get it done.
That is the way snow was here last Thursday. DH and DS took roof rake and got snow off garage and mud room. And her plugged in ice melter on one roof.Guy LOL at us using rake on year.Until heavy snow cracked rafter in his garage.$$$$$
I hope you took a good long relaxing soak in a nice hot tub with bubbles after all that heavy shoveling. The kind you drink no soak in.
Its snowing again right now! Supposed to get 3-4". Not looking forward to driving to work, but at least itll be light out when I go
We got 2" of new snow last night and they say snow showers for tonight. We have already had more snow in Dec. than we had all of last year!
We got more snow here too! We definitely have more snow right now than we had all of last year. Last year I only shoveled snow twice all winter. I've already shoveled twice this week!
We got just a dusting of new snow last night. I went up and replaced the mail box that the snowplow took out last Wed. They say snow showers Mon night and Tues.
wow ck! we can totally identify with the heavy wet snow! it's been a constant here. this is the first time we had to put chains on the big tractor so it wouldn't get stuck!
We are to get more.But extra cold.Not like in years past. But still- 0. Pets love not being outside. Sandy 2 year old yellow lab moves the snow.
