Dooley...I just read you have a son in Oshkosh, Wisconsin...that is not very far from where I am. I am in Neenah, Wisconsin. on the news tonight they said we have had about 45" of snow in December and a total for 2008 was about 109" . (that is counting last 2008 winter)now I am not positive if this was Green Bays totals or for all the area. I have a daughter and her family that live in Oshkosh and my other two children live in Neenah with their families. Small world isn't it?
I missed this post yesterday. Andrew called me for my birthday this evening. He said the official total for snow in December was 39 inches. The previous record was 25.8 so the went past it by about 14 inches. We used to live in Wisconsin. We moved to Arizona in 1989 and to Texas in December. Andrew went to the University of Wisconsin in Madison for college and medical school and was in the Air Force for 10 years. They went back to Wisconsin and spent a couple of years in Wausau and now are in Oshkosh. His wife's family live in Shawano. dr used to go hunting near Neenah when we lived in Wisconsin. It is a small world. When they lived in Wausau they discovered one of my cousins had a daughter living there. dooley
