Double bloom Sunflower

    Not sure what happened with this sunflower. Not sure where the seed came from either since I only put out Safflower seeds for the birds. :rolleyes: Don't know why the background is blue.

    The blue background makes the sunflower stand out. Could you tell me how you do that ... I'd like to use it.

    I took two photos of that bloom, one using Landscape setting and the other Macro. The blue background showed up on the Macro photo. I have a couple of other pictures taken recently with the blue and I was using Macro for them too. But it doesn't happen every time I use the Macro setting.
    I am wondering if, when I turn the knob to Macro if I might not be getting it exactly on the setting and that could be causing the blue. I will have to play with that idea.

    I love these 'freaks' of nature and find them far more interesting than the ordinary blooms.

    What a peculiar development. It only needs a couple of eyes and it would make a sad face.
