Dove Nest

While learning how to operate our new video camera I decided to make a wild life reports of sorts to the events leading up to this new chapter in the jungle of our yard.

Thats the plan Eileen. Today it came a real thunder boomer and they sat there right through it. They are really fun to watch.

 

We had Mourning Doves nesting on our pergola, but they seem to have abandoned it after weeks of sitting on it. No sign of eggs or chicks. Odd

 

Our doves raised 2 chicks and then flew the coop so to speak. Here is a post with a video of them feeding the chicks:

We really enjoyed tehm and hope they will return to do it again some day.

Thanks guys I am so very glad ya enjoyed it. We spent long minutes watching them through the kitchen door. They were nice to have and we hope they come back some day.
