On another gardening site a lady offered Dr. Suess brugmansia cuttings for postage. She sent four cuttings. Many people start them in water and later plant them in soil. I decided to plant them in soil and skip the water step. I started them May 24. They all started growing immediately. I noticed two buds on one of the plants on August 14. When I came home last night, Dr Seuss was blooming. Seed pod. Flower opening. Open.
WOW the flower is almost as big as the pot!! I'm so pleased to hear that all four are doing well for you.
