I took a picture of the chickens.

I handed dr the camera while Jane and I fed the chickens oyster crackers. He took our picture.

Oops, I think I mixed the two up when I inserted them here.
So, we were so busy talking we didn't even see the camera pointed at us. We spent a lot of time talking and we will be doing it again, I'm sure. I had a great day and so did dr. Thank you Jane and Walt for having us to your house for a fun day.

Thanks for the pics and commentary, Dooley.

That looks like a good set-up for the chickens and water collection.
Was that building where the chooks were used for other things as well. or just a roost for the hens?

You guys must have had a great time chatting.I'll bet that the chatting could have gone on for hours, maybe even days. :)

I wanted to see her bee hives, though. Waaaah. Next visit perhaps.

Thanks to DR for taking photos--Dooley and I were too busy comparing notes on being children's librarians, growing plants, etc. to remember there was a camera ready to be used!
Sojerd, that building is an old barn (in Texas many barns are "tin" since we have every type of termite ever invented). Two of the stalls are chicken coops, complete with high roosts, feeders, watering stations, jacuzzis, big screen TVs and a personal maid service ;) . There is a stall dedicated to bee keeping equipment, and we also park our lawn and garden equipment in there.
    I wish y'all could come to visit--we'd throw a barbecue Texas-style!

Jacuzzi's?!! Big screen telly's---plasma, of course.
Annnnnd maid service. Hmmmmm, lemmie see, I wonder who the maid would be ;) ROARRRRRRR.

Thanks for the explanation of how your layout is there. I can be so jealous of folks with room.
