hello i'm ron from israel. nice to meet you.. i want to ask.. where is the best place to order dried flowers from? i want to put some in jars for decoration. i thought of daffodils for example. i want them to look nice.. SENDING LOVE FROM ISRAEL!!
Welcome to Garden Stew! I think you will have the best luck finding dried flowers at a florist shop. Here in the USA we have craft shops like Michael's, Hobby Lobby, etc. that have both false and dried flowers. I don't know if there is are equivalent shops in Israel. Not all flowers dry well, but there are many that do.
hi tnx.. i think that few weeks ago i've tried to search what's availble in israel without having good options. i will try again or perhaps call a shop or two..
FYI silica gel available at craft stores. It’s a sandy type drying technique medium. I have dried peonies, lilies, roses, amaryllis just to name a few. They last a long time.
I read an article on different ways to dry out flowers the other day. I have only tried air drying. I sprayed some acrylic seal on the to set the color, and help the fragile stems. Are there flower shops around, or even wild flowers you can pick? If you need dried flowers, there are plenty of sites you can purchase from, google dry flowers.
and thanks i also read some article on drying flowers but for now want to buy them dry..... i will try your search term with the Brave search engine..
Hey OORE KASDIM, your idea of using dried flowers for decoration is wonderful! They can add a unique and timeless beauty to any space. While you're exploring options for dried flowers, you might also consider incorporating some live plants into your décor. I recently read a blog post on Aztec Plants about the Platy cerium, also known as the Staghorn Fern. This plant is quite unique and can be grown in hanging planters, creating a beautiful and eye-catching display. The Staghorn Fern could be a great complement to your dried flowers. It's not only visually striking but also low-maintenance and great for purifying the air. Plus, as Aztec Plants says, "Plants make life better," and I couldn't agree more! Best of luck with your decoration project! Arron
