Drooping head purple bud

    My sister was given some unnamed seeds which she put in her garden this is the result can they be ID please thank you poppy

    By looking at the leaves I'd guess it's a Papaver somniferum-type, but I'm no poppy-expert. I'm certain somebody else will know for sure.

    I'm not a poppy expert either but I'd love to see those poppies again when they open up and flower for you. :-D

    They do look like a Somniferum-type to me too Droopy. I'd love to see another shot when those buds open :D
