I am an early riser, sometimes like this morning way too early. Not much you can look at out doors at 2:30 am....as soon as it was getting light and before the 2 dogs and my husband got up I was looking out the window with my cat Birdie....Now it has been at least 4 times that I have noticed the ducks walking through my yard and the rabbit is here all of the time eating on the dropped bird seed in the pergola feeding area.

I am wondering if maybe the ducks already have a nest in one of our large evergreens.....I hope I spot any young ones if they come walking through the yard when the dogs are out. My lab wouldn't hurt a flea but the Chihuahua is a stinker and full of energy. She makes me dizzy when she races in the circles around the yard.

Going out to the barn early in the morning, I often see a bunny, or two, or three. They think I'm part of the landscape and don't get nervous. So far they have stayed out of the vegetable gardens, thank heavens!
We don't have ducks this time of year--ours are migratory ducks that show up in spring and fall/early winter. I envy your ducks, and hope they have a safe nest in your yard.

Oh My. Those are good photos. I love seeing the wild life in and around our yard. Our rabbits do not live to long because our neighbor shoots them.:worried: Or the Owls eat them.
I use to be an early riser when my honey worked. But not that he is retired, I usually do not get up before 7:00am. When I was getting up at 6:00am to get my honey off to work I often took some wonderful sunrise pic's.
But now the sun is up before me.:D Oh well--how many sunrise pictures can one take. I think I have over 100 of them.

    Thank you...

Tooty2shoes...I haven't taken many pictures of the sun or the moon. I have been busy taking photos of the birds and flowers and of course my pets.
