Had a rain cell come through at about 7 am and we got 1 inch of rain in about 20 minutes. Now we have another one headed our way. And we could get more later this afternoon. The next county north of us, where my wifes family lives, got about 5 inches of rain last week. The farmers up there are going to have to replant some of their soybeans as they have been underwater for about a week. We are in a flash flood watch for leter on today.

I could do with some rain here as it's been dry for quite a while. However, I'd like a fairly heavy (but steady) rainfall not the amount you're getting.

And again ! We were in a tornado watch for most of the night, but nothing came of it, at least at my place. The storm cell came through about 4:30 am and the thunder woke me up. I don't think I have ever seen it rain as hard as that. We got another 1 1/2 inches of rain. So that is 3 inches of rain in 2 days. We wee in town this morning and Home Depot had signs out. "WE HAVE GENERATORS AND SUMP PUMPS".

Heard about those bad storms on the news. Whew. Hope all is well and you get a break from all that heavy rain.

    We're very dry here too.

We got rain again last night too Capt. Last week we were in drought conditions and this week my lawn is underwater! I don't think there is a happy medium anymore.

The storms back your way seem to lining up for a aprade that never ends. I really feel for you, the weather has been miserable here but nothing like that. I hope the weather patterns get back to normal soon for all of us. Be safe and heed those warnings for everyone sake.
