on a similar note I saw on a program that an organization is in the process of mapping the entire ocean floor and estimate completion time is 2030. seeing this made me think of that,.
I saw the documentary about where some areas were deeper than ever before expected while mapping out the ocean floor. Showing hot plumes of bubbles escaping from the oven floor thru deep canyons and strange fish with no eyesight because the deepest part has no light to see and virtually no pollution in the deepest canyons. It was in areas never seen before and quite interesting .
