November 3, 2016 024 (2).jpg We noticed them about a week ago flying high in the sky. Today we were talking with a contractor and 2 eagles, one with a fish in his talons... flew right to one of our large trees on the water. I just said to everyone...grab your camera phones and we started taking photos. Most were too small so I will show you it cropped so you can tell it is an eagle...I will definitely have to keep our little Chihuahua close to us at all times when they are sighted. I guess the water stays open in the winter and the eagles come to fish.

    November 3, 2016 020 (2).jpg Look closely...the thing hanging below is a fish...

Love those pictures! I'll be looking for more of them since they seem to like your lake. We have some of the bald Eagles around here and I'm always thrilled to see them.

Well captured images Sherry,..that looks like a good sized fish,..i can see by that,.. you would need to keep your Chihuahua at your side at all times.

Gosh you did well to get those photographs so clear Sherry. It looks as though the lake is a hot spot for wildlife.

Amazing! We were watching an Eagle the other day at work ... he was trying to soar and the Sea Gulls were trying to chase it away.
He was amazing to watch, but way too far away to take photos of.

Thank you...I think we will be quite busy watching all of the different wildlife. My husband thinks he saw deer prints in the dirt we are putting behind the shoreline....
