Got myself a new computer today. I got a Toshiba laptop with touch screen and windows 8.1 . It's on layaway until Thurs. My son works at Wal Mart and get's a 25% discount as a Christmas bonus. So he will pick it up and then I pay him. Saves me right at $100 on the puter. So I have been checking out Windows 8.1 online to see how it works!

I've been using an iPad for the last 2 1/2 years. It is great for sitting in my comfy chair and websurfing, but it doesn't have some of the versatility of our old laptop.
Jewell, I do the same. My trusty iPad is by my chair in the den.....perfect for surfing, playing the couple of games that I enjoy, and even occasionally watching a TV show on it when there's nothing better on the big screen.
Oh wow! I got an early Christmas present to. A laptop. Hubby said it was to keep us from fighting over the computer after he retires.
