    Hi,

I sown new seeds then dropped the seed tray lol

I thought no seeds in the pots afterwards...wrong but..What is this flower seedling?

I actually forget what I sowed that day.

Its not Plumeria..got that...weired seed and baby leaf.

    Possibles below

    Lewisia?

    Black velvet rose geranium

    Acer

    Blackberry Lily

    Cape Daisy..could be!

    Thanks

    :D

It's rather difficult to tell from your photograph I'm afraid Kate. Is it possible for you to send us another picture please?

    No Eileen,

Its a new seed and at this time of year a slow process.

Its ok, one day we'll know when its grown.

There is a site online that shows almost all seed images and what the seedling will look like. I am still looking.

    Thanks Eileen!

Yea so tiny and I also believe there are two in there.

I did a seed swap last summer and this was one of the swaps.

    Thanks slcdms

If I should venture a guess, I'd say it's the Blackberry Lily too.

Blackberry lilies usually grow really well from seeds

Seems like in the main they are orange,

I like the leopard type, no idea what type the seed swap is.

    I like surprises :D

You are welcome, you will enjoy them, they are fun to watch, when the flower fades it twists itself up and looks so fuuny, then the pod makes and it looks like ripe blackberries.
The bloom is small and even though they are pretty, it is still more interesting to watch the whole process than just to grow for the blooms

If they have good soil they can get 3-4 feet tall

The soil is great where they are going, some seasons ago I applied a good fertilizer (name unknown) and plants still flourish there.

Just need to watch that Lily beetle I picked off a lily one year.

then you will have fun with these I am sure if you have good soil.
Mine is poor, I am constantly trying to improve it, maybe some day I can say mine is good too.
