According to Buckeye Chuck, we will have an early spring. He failed to see his shadow this morning. I think it was because of his snow goggles!
Punxsutawney Phil did not see his shadow this morning so both furry prognosticators are on the same page. Time to clear the garden!! Jerry
I heard a guy on radio say his willow trees are showing signs of early spring. He said another tree (he didn't know name)was showing signs too.Sap starting to flow? sNs
Usually when the sap starts moving, my mock orange stems start turning a reddish color. So far, no sign of color change yet.
I must say that one good sign is that all the defoliated plants in the greenhouse have itty bitty (squeekie voice) little buds on all the ends. Sounds like Spring to me.........one can only hope and pray....
I have 3 daffodils blooming now. And some new buds and leaves on the rose bushes. Maybe, maybe! dooley
