I posted a topic titled, Small perch, big bird. Well the reason for that bird picture was to complete a web page tip. It will be going in the Nature Inn site, you can see this by visiting, My Nature Site, at the bottom of this post. I thought a preview here would let you know what it will look like. Since I put a halt to adding any more plants for a while... you just gave me the inspiration to start giving the birds some more attention.
That'll keep me busy and out of trouble!
I'm going check out the rest of the tips on the nature site!

I really like the idea of using an apple corer to make the plugs for the log feeder. I make fat cakes for my birds but I'm going to keep the log feeder in mind and set a couple up in the garden next winter.

The log provides a natural looking feeder, I like the esthetics.

Thank you for all the nice replies. I try to come up with some idea each month for the monthly newsletter. Then we make it into an interesting addition the the nature site.
