    This first lot were taken at the Norfolk Lavender Farm. The lavender, sadly, had finished flowering but there was still plenty to see.

    Great fotos Eileen. I have been to the same Lavender Farm with old mill. I found it very interesting. Sadly I was there too late for the Lavender in bloom as well, but I took the little tour anyway because i wanted to see how they made the oil.

    That is a nice selection of dahlias. I sort of like dahlias--there are so many different types.

    I'm looking forward to the second posting now. :D

    I think I like those white flowers in the second picture but the others are sure colorful. dooley

    Toni I don't know the exact name of the flowers in the third photograph. I just know that they are a type of dahlia - they are stunning aren't they? :-D

    The orange blossom against the backdrop of those dark leaves just makes the color pop out and smack you in the eye. I really like those...have to do a search to see if they will grow down here.

    Those are beautiful photos, Eileen. Thanks for posting them. I can't imagine the sight and scent of a field of Lavender. It must be heavenly.
