Emma I'm soooo sorry I missed sending you birthday wishes yesterday. :'( I hope you had a wonderful time with Mark and the children and that you were spoiled rotten. Happy Belated Birthday.
Birthday wishes from another November girl. November girls rock! Hope you had a fabulous celebration, EJ.
Happy Birthday EJ! So...you hit a milestone. Time really does fly, doesn't it? I can recall that you have been around here a long time, and before GS other boards. All-in-all, perhaps nine years that I have seen your postings one place or another. You have always had good gardening posts and also a little "personal" stuff in-between. Nice that you are still here. I like reading your posts and your blog. Good stuff. It sounded like you had a good B'day...so many happy returns and keep on gardening!
Another belated Happy Birthday! Isn't it wonderful that you have so many friends and well-wishers here on the Stew?
Thanks folks. It was on Monday, but I seemed to be celebrating it for days before. On Friday my mum and sister had paid for me to have a pampering session, so a massage, facial, steam, manicure etc, then on Saturday, Mark and I went to London for the weekend (mum had the kids) and we were tourists. Saturday was spent at Kew Gardens, then in the evening we enjoyed the Christmas sights and sounds in Covent Garden followed by dinner in a restaurant called Belgo. Sunday we went up the London Eye, which made my knees go a tad wobbly, then browsed around the Christmas market on the Southbank of the Thames, and finally heading for home mid afternoon. Monday we had a lazy day as James was poorly Sunday night, but that was perfect after a busy weekend. I have lots of pics, and will start resizing some immediately.
Well you had quite a day indeed. It was good news hearing that you had taken lots of pics. Ermm, so what are ya standing around here for--get to re-sizing those babies right away.
The whole shebang sounds like a fabulous celebration for someone super fabulous! Glad it was so great.
