We'll start here in the bed around the light pole.

The Passion Flower is the "center of attention" as it climbs the pole.

There's also some pink coneflowers in there.
But the star of that bed has to be the Black Eyed Susans!

In another bed right behind there, I've got a Mum that has practically been blooming all year.

Wish our wild milk weed would bloom. Let it grow in veggy area
Our Mums only bloom in fall here.

Wonderful blooms in your back yard. I really like the frilly 'Pearl Harbour' and the white Gaura. I've only ever seen it in pink. What is Blue Daze?

Koszta...my milk weed hasn't been prolific as in the past. I blame it all on the screwy weather we've had this year.

Thanks Netty... I have some of the Pink Gaura and was tickled to find some white ones on the mark-down rack. The pinks stopped blooming weeks ago, but these whites are hanging in there.
Blue Daze.... Evolvulus glomeratus. Even though they aren't typically hardy for us here in zones 8-9... I have seen them come back. But they are pretty cheap and plentiful in the nurseries.... a good flower for some "blue".

Thanks Cherylad. I bought 3 small Evolvulus hybrid this year 'Blue My Mind' and thought yours looked familiar. I had never seen it before. It's not doing too much in my garden yet.
