This video of the rescue of over 100 stranded horses, in the Netherlands, left me with tears in my eyes and a giant lump in my throat. Although 18 of the animals had died prior to this rescue in November of 2006, not one of those remaining was lost as they were lead to safety by 4 women riders.

Our friends in Holland told me about this rescue Zuzu. Seeing the video really hit home. I didn't realise just how bad it was for those poor horses. Thank goodness those women had the right idea.
