OO lovely EJ!! I have crocus, snowdrops, hellebore and scillia in bloom somewhere under all the snow. My daffs and tulips were popping up everywhere and I'm sure they'll be fine under their blanket of white - at least I hope so.

I love all your pics but my favourites just have to be those beautiful crocus. :D

Spring in EJ's garden :setf_052: Great pictures!!

I just know somewhere in my yard there are flowers with shovels digging furiously to escape the clutches of a snowy winter.

    Winter has been too long,

YOU KNOW JERRY, THE OLDER WE GET, THE LONGER WINTER SEEMS TO LAST! Today I saw a wooly bear caterpillar. He was brown and black. My question is, was he predicting for the rest of this winter or was he predicting next winter? If it's for next winter, it will be just as bad as this winter was.

The wooly bear caterpillar you found Captain was last years harbinger of winter. It will soon build its cocoon. When it emerges the Pyrrharctia isabella moth or Isabella tiger moth will mate and lay eggs to again hatch as wooly bears for the 2011/2012 winter season.

Great pics, EJ--That first one I REALLY like. Such a burst of colour!
What sort of bud is that last one. It is such a nice sight to see.

Not sure Sjoerd, it could have been the cherry, or the asian pear tree.
