The calendar is saying it is spring. It sure doesn't look it or feel like spring here. Since Google seems to know everything I thought I would ask them. Here is the message Google sent.
I know the feeling, though not as badly as you I don't think. We had 3 wonderful days of spring here, sunshine and low 70's, perfect weather, and then BAM!!! Back to cold, rain, frost, and generally miserable weather. Good thing I didn't start all planting or I'd be out running around like crazy covering the plants!!
Our snow is almost gone, but the temperatures aren't getting much warmer. And last night the wind was blowing so hard I could feel the house shaking!
Here comes the snow again today for my area. Forecast: Chance of snow showers in the morning with it becoming mostly rain in the afternoon. Thank you for not making it all snow!
We're back to 50 - 60 mph winds here along with snow, hail rain. It's really cold into the bargain. Someone gave us a hint of spring and then took it away again.
Obviously spring is not following the script according to the calendar. What ever the reason Spring is late, late, late. While late, there are signs of its pending arrival. According to my latest measurement it is 17.625 inches till spring. Jerry
Oh my goodness ... Chrisle and Jerry you have my complete sympathy! Mother Nature has been cruel to you this year.
