The Panhandle (Lubbock, Amarillo) got hit with lots of snow, but that is a snowy part of Texas, so they have removal equipment.
We have wind, strong, steady wind, and it is really putting a crimp in my outdoor plans (and the hens are all wrong-side-out when they go outside!).

No snow here but lots of strong winds blowing everything to other places. Lots of stuff up against our fences. Doesn't do to move it yet though wind advisories all week.

Lots of wind here too, steady at 25-35mph with some gusts up to 55mph. I kept hoping that the snowstorm would swing down this way but at over 350 miles away it just didn't have a chance of reaching me.

It was pretty windy here last night... but it's pretty calm outside now with plenty of sunshine and temps in the mid60s.
So to answer your question... I'm okay WITHOUT the snow. :D

Glad to hear all of our Texan's are OK.
Yikes Marlin. With the wind that strong I would think that the chickens would be walking sideways or vertical to the ground. Maybe you could put little weights on their legs to keep them upright. :D :D

K Kid, I agree. Think Spring! We have had rain COLD COLD COLD rain for the day and it's blowing in from the EAST. What is up with that? This storm system is coming in from the south/ southwest. All my east windows are dripping with rain and the chicken coop is sopping wet inside the door way! YUCK YUCK YUCK!

That same storm was supposed to hit southern Ontario last night and leave piles of new snow and some rain. Woke up this morning and was almost disappointed with the 2cm we did get. It is a snow day for the kids here and I'm not quite sure why...
