Had to go in and get all the paperwork done for the surgery on Tues. Got some eye drops that I have to use starting on Sat through Mon. Then I will have to use them for a month for each eye after the surgery. Won't be able to do any yard work for 2 wks after each eye so that mean a month. But at least I can be outside and in the sun! But will have to wear sun glasses.

Don't be tempted to do even a little work outside after your surgery CK. After all your sight is far more important than a few weeds or some overgrown grass any day. Good luck for Tuesday!! :-D

Good luck, be sensible and patient, and have a speedy, trouble-free recovery.

Sounds like you will be all set for the surgery...can you put the drops in yourself? My husband cannot put anything in his eyes on his own...and you have to pry his eye open if he needs anything in them..I have to put drops in my eyes daily because I have glaucoma and he travels so many years ago I started doing it.Good Luck with your surgery and take it easy...

I started the 1st drops on Sat, 4 times a day. I continue them today and Mon, plus I start antobiotic drops 4 times a day on Mon. They will call me on Mon. and tell me what time I have to be in the surgical center on Tues.

Do you by any chance go to the Cleveland clinic?

My sis used to live close to there.

No I am about 150 miles south of the Clinic. This will be in the local out patient surgical unit.

Just curious, case she thought it was such a great place.

They do that here mostly in the hospitals.. Sounds like the same method.

    Good luck.

Well that's the surgery all over and done with so now things can only get better. Just remember to take it easy until both eyes are properly healed. I hope the check-up goes OK and that you'll soon be seeing much more clearly with both eyes.
