In a little while I will be going back into hospital for the day to have another operation to repair my retina. The out-side op did not work as planned which is just typical of my body(90% of people have success with the buckle) so now Mr El Ashry will be working from the inside and putting a bubble of gas in to hold everything where it ought to be. This means that I will have to lie on my side for at least 45 mins of every hour for the next fortnight.

    Fingers crossed...

I really wish you didn't have to go through a second surgery but, surely, this time it will all be worth while. :fingerscrossed: ten times over that the operation works for you this time.

That's too bad it didn't work, but thankfully you have another option to save your eyesight. Housework is much better than the "vacation" from it, huh? Get well soon!
