Had a low of 37 last night with a light frost on the roof of the house. Fitsy wood fire going inthe wood burner to take the chill off the house!

Here too! We've had a few frosts but on Thursday it was rainy and damp and I fired the woodstove up for the first time this season. I want summer back.

I got plenty of summer you can have. Not as hot as a couple of months ago but I think you would like the mid to upper 80's we have. Of course, that does come with no rain since Sept 25th and none for certain in the forecast for the rest of October...But you can have all of it you want. ;)

Netty, if you run out of Toni's summer, we still have some to share! Nights are very pleasant with lows in the 50's, and daytime highs are mid-80's. I finally got my flower beds weeded in the cool of the mornings, and am dedicating the afternoons to fall cleaning (which can be done any time of the year since we really don't have an official autumn!).
We have a wood stove, and used it twice last winter, which was unusually cold for central Texas.
