Took a walk around the yard. Dried creek bed. Poison oak started to turn color. Goes from reds to deep purple. My tired walking Buddy! This wild lettuce weed, middle of the pic, dosn't get much light so it grew up to get more. About 20 ft. more!
I like it when you show pics from your place. I get the idea that you live pretty nice there...with lots of nature near-by. Thanks for the foto's, mate.
Some times we have too much nature! This morning I fed the 3 outdoor cats, had to stand out there to keep the raccoons from stealing their food! In any one day we are likely to see raccoons, deer, all kinds of birds, squirrels, chipmunks, and every once in a while a fox or coyote.
What gorgeous scenery. If I walk far enough down my yard, I can walk into woods with a river. I don't very often because there are no clear pathways once I step away from my lawn. It really is gorgeous, and I've been meaning to do a bit of exploring...and perhaps I will once the foliage thins out a bit. The land behind my house is all county owned, and because of the river there and access and other issues, it will never be built on.
